ABOUT THE GLAM MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
GLAM is Christian based program that believe that each child was created by God for a great PURPOSE.
GLAM was established to build self-esteem, self-development, self-worth, and self-discipline in a positive, caring, and safe environment. GLAM core values are: Be Bold-Be Creative-Be GLAM.
Year 1 “Pearl” Division – 1st Year Program Graduates

THE Purpose behind glam
GLAM is a 12-month program that allows girls ages 5-12yrs old to meet once a month in
helping develop each young girl into their beautiful and unique gift from God. Girls
participate in group activities, healthy mentoring, community service, and enrichment
activities as they gain the ability to lead themselves and others on a course of action of
self development. They also gain the ability to analyze their own strengths and
weaknesses, set personal and vocational goals, and have the self-confidence and self-
esteem to pursue and achieve their goals
THE MISSION BEHIND GLAM
GLAM Mentorship programs are for girls-only, safe space gatherings that meet once a month
on Fridays of each month from 6pm-8pm, we serves 25 girls per year in the
surrounding community. A typical session features guided activities and monthly theme conversation of
the monthly theme by Adult Program Coordinator, Mrs. Denise Harper along with
Special Guest Speakers & Volunteers.
GLAM Girls builds leadership skills and character traits such as honesty, personal
accountability, learning to listen to the viewpoints of others, clear communication,
critical thinking skills about life and its choices and sound decision making. Through goal
setting GLAM Girls work on reaching tangible goals. These skills are essential to success
in school, family, and life.
Additional program elements include ongoing academic support, community field trips,
guest speakers, and many other unique components. The Glam Mentorship Program is
not to take the place of established home life of guidelines and rules, we are an extension
of being another positive voice.
